My name is Carol Rothrauff and I moved to Georgia in 2002 from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania ( Go Black and Gold)! I got my first degree in Psychology from Slippery Rock University. I worked as a social worker for 5 years prior to moving to Georgia. When I arrived in Georgia, I attended Kennesaw State University and received a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I began teaching in Cobb County in 2006. My teaching career started at Fair Oaks Elementary School where I taught 7 years of third grade and one year of fifth grade. During that time, I completed my Master's degree in Literacy and Mathematics from Walden University. This is my 3rd year at Lewis Elementary School and I couldn't be any happier. I look forward to an exciting and fun filled school year. On a personal level, I have two beautiful children......a 7 year old son named Kellan and a 6 year old daughter named Brooke. They are my pride and joy! I love spending time with my family while also enjoying some of my favorite hobbies: reading, sports and cooking.
